How do I find people?
You just go to our SEARCH feature and fill in some basic information for a Quick Search, or more detailed information if you'd like a more specific search.
With a more detailed search, you can specify things like your match's religion, their plans for children and their physical build.
If you know someone's Alias, you can go to our special Search by Alias feature and just type it in and go!
How do I contact people?
On every member profile, there are buttons at the top and bottom where you can click to write email to that person. To write to that person, simply click on the Write Mail icon, compose your letter and hit SEND. The mail automatically goes into your OUTBOX so you can always refer to it later.
What is MatchFinder?
MatchFinder is another terrific way to find people here. Using the criteria that you've filled out about what you're looking for in a Match, we scan the database to see who might be good for you! Then we send you information about those people so you can check them out yourself. We do the work for you, you just sit back and relax! If you're not happy with the matches we're sending you, go to MatchFinder to update your preferences, and we will send you new matches based on your new preferences.
What if I'm not getting responses?
Well, there could be any number of reasons for this. A member may not be responding because they have not been active on their account for a while, perhaps they found someone or have been too busy. A member may not think that the match will work and has thus not replied. You can tell if a member hasd your mail in the "READ?" column in your mailbox. If they have read your mail but not responded, just take it in stride & move on! That's why you use a great service like this, so you have many choices!
What are My Favorites?
This is a great feature where you can "bookmark" a member's profile. If you like what you see in a profile, click on the "Add to Favorites" icon on the profile, and you will be able to access that profile immediately when you log in. This way you don't have to remember their Alias or redo a search to find people who interest you!

How do I know if I have mail?
We send you an email to tell you that you have mail. When you login, just go to MyMail and click on the Inbox and that will take you to view your New Mail. You will also see if you have mail whenever you login automatically.
How do I read my mail?
Just login and go to My Mail! It automatically takes you to your New Mail. If you want to see your Old Mail, just go to Inbox, OLD.
How do I send mail?
When you are viewing a person's profile and you want to write to them, just click on the Write Mail icon and that will take you to a screen where you compose your mail and hit SEND.
How do I know if my mail was received?
When you login, go to MyMail and click on the OUTBOX. In the "Read?" column, a "Y" means the mail wasd by the recipient and no "Y" means it has not yet beend.
What do you mean by "anonymous" email?
When you send an email to another member, your real email address will never appear in the "From" field, only the alias that you use on the site. Your real email address, name and other personal information are never disclosed to other members and it is up to you to reveal that information when you decide to do so.
How do I keep track of my mail?
One of the greatest features on our site is the whole Mailbox Manager, which you get to just by clicking on MyMail. There, you can see all the mail you've sent, all your new mail, and all the mail you've received in the past.
How do I block emails from other members?
If you do not want to receive emails from a particular member, you can just go to that member's profile and click on the BlockMail icon. Or, you can go to MyMail and select an email from that member and click on the BlockMail button at the bottom. You can unblock a member at any time by deleting them from your BlockMail list.
How do I change my opt-in email preferences?
Simply go to Member Services, Mailing Lists, and you will be given the opportunity to opt in or out of certain email lists from our partners.

How is my identity protected?
Your real email address is always hidden in all your correspondences via our anonymous web-based email system. We will never reveal your personal information, i.e.; your real name, address or phone number to any other members. For more details, please see our PRIVACY POLICY.
How do I password-protect my photo?
When you first upload your photo, you are given the opportunity to choose an access level for other members to see your photo. You create your own password there, and then you choose whom to give that password to as you correspond with different members. You can change the access level at any time by going to Member Services, Tools & Services.
How do I prevent certain members from contacting me?
You can block emails from particular members by either:

a) | selecting an email from them in MyMail and then clicking on the BlockMail button below

b) | clicking the BlockMail button on that member's profile

Is my information kept private?
Yes, all your personal information is kept confidential and will not be given out to other members. For more on this, please consult our PRIVACY STATEMENT.
How do I create a profile?
Well, you're taken through the preliminary steps when you first register with us and then it is up to you to continue the registration process. We strongly urge you to complete your profile and add a photo. The more other members know about you, the more comfortable they feel and the more likely that you will get many responses! If you do not complete the registration process initially, which is not required, we prompt you with links to do so when you login. Or you can always just go to good old Member Services, Profile Management, to complete or modify any of the registration steps or to add or change your photo.
How do I view my profile?
You can very simply view your profile by clicking on the My Profile link on the top toolbar. If you want to modify anything, you are prompted to go to Profile Management in Member Services, or you can always go directly there first.
How do I change my profile?
Changing your profile is done very simply by going to Member Services, Profile Management, and clicking on the appropriate section to view and change your information. You can also change your photo there under Tools & Services.
How do I hide my profile?
Hiding your profile, which means that you will not come up in other member's searches, is done at Member Services, Profile Accessibility. You are given an option there to hide your profile and can always go back and change that whenever you'd like.
How do I add a photo?
Adding your photo is very simple! You just go to Member Services, Tools & Services, and you will be taken through the process there. Or, when you login, click on the AddPhoto camera icon as it appears on the left and that will take you right to the photo page.

How do I know what kind of membership I have?
Easy! Just go to Member Services, Membership Status and you will be able to see whether you are a monthly member, how many tokens you might have, if you are a member through a special promotion, or if you are a free member. There are also explanations of these different statuses and you can change from one status to another there.
How do I change my membership status?
You can do that very easily at Member Services, Membership Status. There you will be shown the different membership options and be given the opportunity to change from one form of membership to another.
How do I add more time to my account?
That's easy! Just go to Member Services, Membership Status to add tokens to your account or go from a free membership to a full monthly membership with unlimited email contacts. If you pay by credit card, we will automatically renew your subscription each month at the same low rate. Charges will appear on your bill from "SocialPlus.com".
How do I resign from the service?
We hate to see you go, but we hope it's because you found love! You can delete your profile at Member Services, Membership Status. Please consider simply downgrading to a free membership if you haven't found someone. It doesn't cost anything and you never know!
What if I forgot my login and/or password?
No problem! Just send us an email at Help to request your login and/or password. Be sure to write us from the email address you used to sign up! OR, if you're logging in and input an incorrect login or password, you will be prompted to send an email for a reminder from us.
Who is SocialPlus.com?
SocialPlus.com is the parent company behind URL.com. We run the site and provide all the customer service functions. This is the name that appears on your credit card statement when you charge your membership.
