"Lois Lane Seeks Her Defender of Metropolis"
After years of hard work as Ace reporter and International correspondent for "The Daily Planet", Lois Lane, the bright eyed, journalist, finally calls it quits and puts out an all-point bulletin in search of Superman.
In a news briefing yesterday, Ms. Lane stated, "The climb up the journalist's ladder here at the Planet has been quite rewarding. I started out as the "City Beat Reporter", and made it all the way up to the Assistant Editor's desk. All of this has come at a tremendous cost to my personal life, and now it's time to put the pen, paper and typewriter aside and focus exclusively on finding Superman. Only Superman can see the more intimate and sensual side of Lois and know the life and family I want to share with him."
Colleague Jimmy Olsen, Daily Plant Photographer, reminisces about working with Lois, "She lights up the newsroom when she walks in each morning. Here's a gal who has everything going for her - looks, intelligence, energy - compassion. She's quite an achiever - loves the outdoors - always up for new adventures - She's been a true friend, loyal, nurturing, and practically every guy here at the Planet wants to be close to her. I'll miss her terribly."
Daily Planet Editor in Chief, Perry White, stated, "Lois has always been on the trail of Superman. If he only knew how caring she is and what a wonderful partner she'd make for him". White added, "I've always admired Lois, her concern for social causes, her sensitivity. The office will miss her warmth and I'll miss a darn good reporter!"
Planet Staff Reporter, Clark Kent, shared an interesting perspective about Lois. "It will take a "Superman" to penetrate through her sophisticated exterior and see her true gentle nature. Her air of confidence and great looks can intimidate a lot of men, but underneath, she's a really tender, caring and passionate young woman."
What I'm looking for...
Ms. Lane detailed why she has such passion toward Superman. "He is such a decent person. No one really knows his age, but I'll guess he's somewhere between 35 to 45. He has a wonderful sense of humor, he's honest, never lies, and even though he can leap tall buildings in a single bound, there's nothing more reassuring than feeling so safe and protected when I'm with him. He takes care of himself - he's tall, attractive, but not obsessive about his looks - his confidence in himself comes across as sincerity, not as vanity. I know he's not perfect, he enjoys life's little indulgences every once in a while - a glass of brandy - a Cohiba after dinner every now and then - He wants to show me all of the wonderful things in life, and in turn, is eager to partake in the simple pleasures only we can share - A trip to the Grand Canyon, sipping hot spiced wine in front of the fire with all of the lights turned off, just nuzzling into each other while reading the Sunday Planet under the down comforter. I only hope, where ever he is, he sees this bulletin."
Once finding Superman, Ms. Lane is anxious to begin a new career putting all of her attention towards him and the family they'll both want. Promises, Ms. Lane, "There would be nothing more satisfying than taking care of Superman after he's had a hard day of righting wrongs, putting the Lex Luthors of the world behind bars, and helping little old ladies across Lexington and 3rd."
